The countdown is very much on to this Saturday’s Stephen O’Connor Run for Children’s Cancer and Respite.
The 5k race will take place on the Old Newry Road at 11am on Saturday with entry costing €15 per person or €10 per person for groups of 10 or more.
All proceeds of the race are going to Clic Sargent (Children’s Cancer Care) and the Maria Goretti Children’s Respite Centre in Lordship.
People can still sign up for the race on www.runireland.com or on the morning of the run from 8.30am to 10.30am at the start line.
Race packs for those that have already registered can be collected this Friday between 3pm and 8pm in the Marshes Shopping Centre, where Stephen will have a stand just outside Costa Coffee.
Race packs can also be collected between 8.30am and 10.30am on the morning of the race.
Stephen also plans to run the London Marathon for the same causes later this year and has so far raised over €1,600. You can make a donation here or contact Stephen directly for more information on 087-6487466.
