A house was completely gutted by fire in the early hours of this morning in Dundalk.
Dundalk Fire Service were called to the scene of the blaze at the mid-terraced home at Old Gardens, off Chapel Street, shortly after midnight.
Two units tackled the fire for over three hours.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination with Gardaí investigating the cause of the blaze.
