A local hotel had to be evacuated for a short time last night after a fire broke out on one of the residential floors.
The Crowne Plaza Hotel was evacuated around 10.30pm after a bag caught fire on the sixth floor.
It was put out by a fire extinguisher and all occupants were quickly returned to the hotel.
Two units of the fire service were in attendance for around an hour and an ambulance also called but thankfully no one was injured.
