Amy Broadhurst, in blue, in action in Hungary
Dundalk boxer Amy Broadhurst has earned herself a place in the final of the EU Junior Championships in Hungary, after beating home favourite Krisztina Varga in the semi-finals yesterday.
The Muirhevnamor southpaw, who is the current European champion, had previously edged out Turkey’s Urguya Us on a split decision to book her ticket into the last-four.
Amy is now guaranteed at least a silver medal.
