Another blow for Clanbrassil Street as Duffner Bros is to close

Clanbrassil Street is set to lose another long-established retailer wit hthe news that Duffner Bros Jewellers is to close,.

The store at 40 Clanbrassil Street is currently holding a retirement sale, which runs until Saturday April 12^th.

It has been trading for 86 years having been founded in 1928.

While the retirement means that the decision is at least a personal one, it leaves another gaping hole in what was once Dundalk’s main shopping street.

Duffners said: “We would like to thank all our customers and friends for the support over the years.”
