A Dundalk IT student has narrowly missed out on the title of Miss Irish Sun 2013.
Kate McGlennon, from Co Clare, is currently studying midwifery in the area.
She was revealed as being in the final three for the coveted title at the weekend but was pipped to the crown by 23-year-old Sinead Duffy from Killiney in Dublin.
The 19-year-old revealed she fell in love with modeling after entering the Miss Clare competition and said she would love to pursue it as a career.
Kate said: “I have been bitten by the bug and would dearly love to go one step further and pursue my dream.”
