Man in his lates 30s who was being held in Dundalk Garda Station for questioning since last Wednesday in connection with a double murder in Ravensdale two years ago has been released without charge.
The bodies of Joseph Redmond, 25, and Anthony Burnett, 32, were found in a burnt-out car at Ravensdale Park in March 2012, after an apparent gang-related type shooting.
Both men were from the Ballybough area in Dublin’s north inner city.
The suspect was freed last night, with a file now set to be sent to the DPP.
