Dundalk Outcomers will host the first ever conference in Ireland on domestic abuse in LGBT relationships.
The event takes place in the Fairways Hotel on Friday May 30th from 10.30am onwards and will explore the issues of violence and abuse within LGBT relationships and provide a forum for domestic abuse support services and LGBT groups to explore joint strategies to support both victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse and the legal protection afforded to them.
The conference will include the launch of Dundalk Outcomers’ new domestic abuse information campaign “Are You?” supported by Cosc, the National Office for the Prevention of Domestic, Sexual and Gender-based Violence.
