The late, great Tommy McConville
The organisers of the recent Tommy McConville Golf Classic and Fundraising Night will make a presentation of all funds raised from the June 7th event to the North Louth Hospice this Friday evening.
The cheque presentation will take place at 7.30pm in McAlester’s Bar in Bridge Street at 7.30pm, with over €10,000 reported to have been raised from the golf outing at Ballymascanlon House Hotel and the night afterwards in the Lisdoo.
There is also hope of making the event an annual thing in order to keep Tommy Mac’s memory alive for years to come.
The Dundalk FC legend passed away following illness last October.
