Dundalk’s upcoming SSE Airtricity League Premier Division clash with fellow title challengers Shamrock Rovers has been put back two days by the FAI.
The fixture at the Tallaght Stadium had been originally scheduled for Friday July 11th but will now take place on Sunday July 13th at 4pm.
This is to accommodate Stephen Kenny’s side as they are due to face Luxembourg side AS Jeunesse Esch in their Europa League first qualifying round second leg tie at Oriel Park on Thursday July 10th. The first leg of that tie takes place in Luxembourg on Tuesday.
The Lilywhites will be hoping to retain their place at the top of the table when they travel to the Brandywell tonight to face Derry City.
