A quantity of diesel laundering waste has been found dumped in Knockbridge this morning.
Approximately 2,000 litres of the toxic fuel waste was discovered at Stephenstown Pond. This is the second time in recent weeks that the fuel waste has been dumped at the popular family destination following a similar incident when 6,000 litres were dumped there at the end of last month.
Louth County Council’s contractors have been called to the scene to deal with the problem.
