Gardaí have requested that Dundalk supporters refrain from holding their pre-match march to Oriel Park ahead of tonight’s Europa League clash with Hajduk Split.
In recent weeks, supporters of the Lilywhites have been meeting in Park Street before marching to Oriel Park waving flags and singing club songs.
However, following a meeting with the club this morning, the Gardaí have asked not to organise the march in order to avoid the interruption of parking and traffic.
They have said that they will also be taking action against anybody that causes public order offences on the night and thank the public for their co-operation in helping the game proceed smoothly.
Kick-off at Oriel Park tonight is at 7.45pm.
