Setanta Sports have announced that they will broadcast the Louth derby between Drogheda United and Dundalk live from United Park on Friday August 8th.
The game has been moved back to 8pm to facilitate the TV coverage with Stephen Kenny’s side returning to the scene of the venue where they suffered a 4-1 hammering on the opening day of the season.
Dundalk responded to that result by inflicting a 7-0 defeat on Drogheda in Oriel Park back in May and will be hoping for a similar positive result against a side that is now managed by former Cork City boss Damien Richardson.
The Lilywhites will also be live on Setanta Sports this coming Friday night when they travel to face Cork City in Turner’s Cross, in the knowledge that a victory could send them six points clear at the top of the table.
