Dundalk is cleaning up its act. That’s according to the latest survey from the business group Irish Business Against Litter (IBAL).
The survey found that Dundalk was the 20th cleanest town in the country – up eight places from where it stood in January of this year.
Once again the town was ‘Clean to European Norms’ in the survey, although neighbouring Drogheda was found to be ‘moderately littered’.
Kilkenny was adjudged to be the cleanest town or city in the country with Farranree in Cork and the North Inner City of Dublin the two main litter blackspots.
