The scene at Tesco following yesterday’s incident which seen a roof cave in
A major accident was narrowly avoided at Dundalk Shopping Centre yesterday after a roof caved in.
The incident happened at the entrance to the Tesco foodstore, with large parts of the ceiling crashing to the ground.
Fortunately no one was hurt during the incident.
The shopping centre is due to be demolished shortly, with work then to begin on a new Tesco Xtra megastore. A temporary Tesco unit is currently being built adjacent to the centre and is progressing well.
