Louth County Council have been granted planning permission to build a new playground facility in Louth Village.
The new playground will be located in Fr Finn Park in the centre of the village, opposite Sark’s Bar and Murphy’s Shop.
Fundraising has been ongoing in recent months by a special playground committee and it is expected that the new facility will service a wide area including children from Stonetown, Knockbridge and Tallanstown.
