Gardaí are investigating the cause of a car fire in Muirhevnamor in the early hours of this morning.
The incident happened around 2.30am when the car, which was parked on a footpath outside a house, was discovered alight.
Dundalk Fire Service were called to the scene to extinguish the blaze with the vehicle removed from the scene from technical examination afterwards.
