This year’s St Gerard’s Novena ends today and to mark the occasion the Redemptorist have put together a special photo montage.
Earlier this week St Joseph’s Church hit the headlines after encouraging people to take selfies while attending the daily Masses.
Now 1,500 of them have been united to create an image of the shrine to St Gerard – a popular feature in the St Alphonsus Road church.
According to their Facebook page: “The image is a symbol of how we have been and continue to be united in prayer, faith and hope during the festival of faith.”
You can also check out a high-res version here where you can zoom in and see individual faces.
Well done to all who took part.
