Local councillor Tomás Sharkey has made an appeal to the public to help him locate a stolen laptop that was stolen last Saturday.

The Apple Macbook was in a laptop case with the Sinn Féin representative’s diary in a van parked outside his wife Caroline’s flower store, The Flower Studio, at Stapleton Court, when it was stolen at 6.37pm last Saturday.

Cllr Sharkey claims to have the thief on camera and says he was wearing dark blue jeans and a black jacket.

He says the Macbook is easily identifiable as it is dented at the charger port.

A key ring with a photo (pictured below) was in the bag also.

Anyone who has information on the theft is asked to contact Cllr Sharkey or the Gardaí.
