A man is being held for questioning at Dundalk Garda Station following the drug seizure in Castlebellingham last night
Gardaí last night seized heroin worth an estimated €750,000 in Castlebellingham.
The seizure took place after a car was searched by members of the Garda National Drug Unit and Organised Crime Unit at 10pm last night as part of an ongoing operation into the sale of drugs in the Leinster area.
A 38-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is currently being detained in Dundalk Garda Station under the Drug Trafficking Act.
