We will all probably overindulge in some way over the Christmas period but if you want to motivate yourself to get fit in the New Year then what better way than to get into training for the Dundalk 10k.
Organisers have confirmed that the annual road race will be officially launching on January 14th, with the event pencilled in for Wednesday April 22nd.
Earlier this year Dundalk IT were the major sponsor and organiser of the race, which started and ended on the campus.
Darragh Greene retained the title in a time of 31.10, pipping Gary O’Hanlon and Brian McCloskey to the title.
Donna Evans was the first woman home, with 695 people in total taking part.
Further details on how to register for the 2015 event will be published in the New Year.
