Local TD Peter Fitzpatrick has made the joint fewest requests for information from fellow TDs and Ministers last year, according to new figures published in today’s Irish Times.
The former Louth GAA manager and his Fine Gael colleague Ray Butler received just three written replies from Ministers and Government departments all year, compared to an average of 208 answers for colleagues.
On average Sinn Féin members spoke in the most debates and dicussions, while Fianna Fáil posed the most written questions.
