Eddie Rocket’s are believed to be eyeing up Dundalk as a possible destination for a new diner.
Last week the American-style diner announced expansion plans, which includes the establishment of 20 new restaurants around Ireland this year.
Dundalk is understood to be one of the areas earmarked with possible locations currently being looked at within the town.
Eddie Rocket’s has had a diner in Drogheda for a number of years now and last December opened a restaurant in the Quays Shopping Centre in Newry, creating 25 jobs.
It is understood, however, that the proposed expansions would be similar to the new Rockets outlets that have recently opened in the IFSC, St Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre and Jervis Shopping Centre in Dublin.
