Eugene and Frankie Mohan with their father, Garda Inspector Brian Mohan, at Frankie’s commissioning of his Military Pilot Wings
Local men Eugene and Frankie Mohan created history yesterday after becoming the first twins to serve as Aircorps pilots.
Frankie was joined by three generations of his family at the Aircorps Headquarters at Casement Aerodrome in Baldonnel for a ceremony in which he was one of five cadets commissioned with his Military Pilot Wings.
That sees him and his brother Eugene become the first twins to serve in the Aircorps.
They were joined at the ceremony by their father, local Garda Inspector Brian Mohan, their grandmother Theresa Mohan and Frankie’s four month old godson Harry at the event.
Eugene and Frankie are former students of De La Salle College in Dundalk.
