A number of vehicle registration plates were stolen from cars in Dundalk at the weekend.
Most of the incidents were confined to the Castle Park, Cox’s Demesne and Fatima areas.
Those affected are asked to notify Gardaí of the theft as stolen number plates can be used for a variety of reasons, including driving off from filling stations without paying for fuel.
