One local person woke up more than €24,000 better off this morning after winning a €12.50 bet on the Euromillions last night.
The punter, who wishes to remain anonymous, made the bet through BoyleSports and walked away €24,304.44 richer after their bet came up.
The customer placed the numbers 3, 10, 16, 36 and 37 in a combination of trebles and fourfolds on Tuesday night’s EuroMillions Main Draw.
The numbers 10, 16, 36 and 37 were all drawn resulting in the customer netting €5,823.88 for their 0.97cent Trebles and €18,480.56 for their 0.56cent Fourfolds combining to a whopping return of €24,303.44.
Liam Glynn, BoyleSports’ spokesperson said: “We would like to congratulate the lucky county Louth customer on their massive EuroMillions pay-out from such a small stake and wish them happy spending.”
He added: “June is beginning to become a disastrous month with lottery payouts and this comes after a bashing throughout the month of May from lucky numbers winners. The one thing that we have noticed though is that our Lottery bets have increased dramatically as a result as it proves that small stakes can reap big dividends.”
