Local man Keith McEneaney is seeking support to help him achieve his dream of getting signed by dance music label Spinnin’ Records.
The 22-year-old music producer from St Nicholas Avenue is currently leading a competition for the contract but he is appealing for as much support as possible to help him land the deal.
Keith explained to Talk of the Town what the competition was all about.
He said: “The competition itself is a remix competition where I have to remix “Oliver Heldens & Shaun Frank ft. Delaney Jane – Shades of Grey” and the overall winner of the competition wins an official release on Spinnin’ Records, which is the biggest dance music label in the world with over 5.3 million Facebook fans alone.
“I’m currently top of the leader boards and in with a great chance if things keep going the way it has over the past few days. I’ve been getting an incredible amount of support locally around Dundalk which I can’t stress how hugely appreciative of this I am.
“I entered the competition because I seen it as a chance to broadcast my music to a much wider range of fans and seen it as an incredible opportunity to develop and grow as an artist as well as the obvious possibly of getting a chance to get a release on my favourite label.
“Winning this competition would be a dream come true for me. Spinnin’ Records is a label which I have adored for a very long time and also most of my favourite artists are signed to Spinnin’. It’s simply mind-blowing to think that I could have even somewhat of a chance of getting this let alone being top of the leader boards.

He added: “Once on this page you have to click “Vote”, you will then be asked to sign in. Just click “Sign in/Log in using Facebook”. You will then be brought to your new Spinnin’ Records account then all you have to do is go back to the track and click “Vote just one last time. The whole process takes roughly 15-20 seconds but could mean so much to me.”
The submission Deadline for the competition is the July 26th which will be followed by a few weeks of another voting phase which will then be followed by the judging stage and announcement of the successful participant.
Keith, who DJs under the name KMAK, has work uploaded on Soundcloud and you can also find out more about him via his Facebook page.
