Leinster stars David and Rob Kearney and Louth captain Paddy Keenan will be amongst the guests of honour at the launch of the Santa Fun Run in the Market Square at 6pm this evening.
Dundalk Chamber of Commerce will be aiming to break a Guinness World Record when they hold their annual festive fun run on Friday November 29th.
Over 4,000 participants are needed to break the record, which will be run in aid of five local charities: Lordship Children’s Respite Centre, North Louth Hospice, Men’s Sheds, SNAP and SOSAD.
The event will take place from the Redemptorist Church on St Alphonsus Road to the Demesne and Market Square.
It will also coincide with the start of the Festival of Light and Culture.
