Ladywell House on the Dublin Road could be set to be demolished.
Oliver and Mary McGinnity have applied to Dundalk Town Council for planning permission to demolish the house and replace it with a new part two storyed home, with garage.
They also hope to close the existing vehicular entrance and construction a new entrance from the adjoining housing development.
Ladywell House, which is located just after Priorland Gardens, was bought for €175,000 on March 26th.
