A man appeared before Dundalk District Court earlier today accused of sexually assaulting two teenage boys decades ago.
The 66-year-old, who now resides in England, was charged with nine counts of indecent assault – seven of which relate to the same individual on dates in 1972 and 1973 in Louth and Roscommon.
The other two alleged offences date back to 1987 in Louth.
The defendant was granted bail without objection by Judge William Hamill, who adjourned the case until March 19th next.
