McParlands of Newry
Newry-based home and hardware store McParland’s have issued a warning about people going door to door in the Louth area selling items and claiming they are representatives of the Monaghan Street firm.
People, claiming to work for McParland’s, have been reported to be selling products door to door in the Louth area in recent days.
However, in a statement via their Facebook page yesterday, McParlands insist that these people have nothing whatsoever to do with them.
They said: “We have been made aware that there have been door to door salesmen selling products from the back of a van in the Carlingford, Castlebellingham, Louth area claiming that they are from McParlands, Newry. We would just like to confirm that these men have absolutely nothing to do with our company and are not selling these items on our behalf.
“If you have purchased anything from these men be aware that they are in no way connected to our company.”
