The local queue for tickets to Garth Brooks’ Croke Park concerts next July began this morning – despite the fact that tickets don’t go on sale until 9am on Thursday.
A small group of women have already taken up residence on deck chairs outside of News & Deli in Park Street, which will be reopening on Thursday morning to accommodate ticket sales despite the fact the local newsagents closed its doors in recent weeks.
Queues for concert tickets outside News & Deli isn’t something new but waiting up to 48 hours beforehand is surely a first. Last year there were huge queues for One Direction tickets but unlike then, these fans also have to deal with the rain, wind and cold with little let up in the weather anticipated between now and Thursday.
The Garth Brooks concerts at Croke Park take place on July 25th and 26th.
