The old carriage being demolished
The scrapping of the 0ld Mk3 intercity rail carriages got underway at Clarke Station in Dundalk this morning.
Diggers were on hand to break up the old carriages, which were replaced in recent news with more modern versions.
It is planned to also refurbish the Enterprise service in the coming year or two.
