Members of Dundalk Photographic Society were amongst the winners at the recent Irish Photographic Federation (IPF) Print & Projected Image Competition in Kilkenny, which was sponsored by Canon Ireland.
Thomas Gray won the colour print theme category with his image ‘Red Rose Old House’ while Tony McDonnell won the North East Region’s overall prize for his picture ‘My Space’.
Meanwhile, Thomas – who was commended for another shot in the colour print theme ‘Old Bedroom’ – also picked up a Colour Print Open award for his snap ‘Bellurgan at Dawn’ with Clodagh Tumilty taking the silver prize here for her picture ‘Lonely Chair’.
Clodagh also claimed a bronze in the Projected Image Open section for her picture ‘Tullan Strand’.
Finally Conor McEneaney took a first in the monochrome print theme section for his picture ‘The Stillness of Salterstown’.
