The Passive House Association of Ireland will hold a briefing in Dundalk IT next Wednesday from 5.30pm to 8pm.
The PHAI is a catalyst for the increased awareness of the opportunities and benefits of low energy design based on the Passive House principles, across the Irish construction industry as a whole.
Passive House design is seen as a specifically proven successful way of designing such buildings with the PHAI’s mission being to promote, educate and facilitate the Passive House concept.
The local briefing will include the following key topics: A behind the scenes look at building control from Bernadette McArdle, Building Control Officer in Louth County Council, and the benefit of heat pumps and their major advantages in compliance with DEAP and BER assessments.
